In conventional Braille graphics, the explanations are in Braille. Since Braille is not scalable, only a small amount of information can be provided. The Tactonom Reader, on the other hand, explains the content using audio information. These can be included in unlimited quantity, which enables the understanding even of complex graphics.

The Tactonom Reader is able to guide the users' fingers via acoustic signals to a selected element in a graphic. In addition, through interactive questions and answers, the Tactonom Reader is able to deepen the understanding of a given graphic.

To start, a new tactile graphic is placed on the device. The Tactonom Reader automatically recognizes it and is ready to be used.
